I am an executive coach and organisational development consultant, developing people and organisations towards personal and professional achievement and resilience. My passion and experience lies predominantly within the health, social care and education sectors where I work to help enhance the capability and confidence of leaders and their teams to make a difference to the quality of services offered.
My approach is person-centred when working with my clients, believing as I do in the benefits of developing strong inter-personal connections in order to support the leaders drive towards achieving clear outcomes for improvement, whether for the team, the leader themselves or the organisation as a whole.
Having started out in the private sector in business consultancy and as a Quality Development Manager, I then headed up an Organisational Development and training function within the health sector in Scotland. Over the past 13 years in private consultancy I have been engaged in leadership and team development, as well as providing external OD support for organisations undergoing significant change. I also support the Institute of Healthcare Management in Scotland with the leadership education programmes. More recently I have been coaching and mentoring executives, clinical and non- clinical within the public sector as well as having third sector and private sector coaching clients.
My experience of working as part of the AOD team in Scotland to date has been more than refreshing as I truly believe AOD “walks the talk” as far as creating a team ethos and engaging authentically and professionally with clients. I am currently coaching a range of executive team leaders through the Affina Team Journey in Glasgow and believe that AOD’s evidence based approach, coupled with the highly supportive tools available really make THE difference to offering a comprehensive and enabling support service to clients looking to realise the potential of their teams.
My work highlights to date have been supporting the integration agenda between health and social care in Scotland, leading a wide scale culture change programme and assisting individuals develop their personal resilience through empathic and supportively challenging coaching.
