This practical, hands-on accreditation programme is designed for practitioners who support teams in health and care and want to use robust, evidence-based tools to assess them with clarity and confidence.

Who it’s for

The AOD Team Assessment Accreditation Programme is designed for:

  • OD, HR and L&D practitioners
  • Executive and Team Coaches
  • Internal and external consultants
  • Leaders supporting team-based working in health and care systems, including Trusts, ICBs, and provider collaboratives

What you’ll gain

  • Core skills in team assessment, interpreting results, and giving meaningful feedback, with real-world insights from our experienced practitioners.
  • An understanding of the research linking team effectiveness to organisational performance and patient/client outcomes.
  • Clarity on the dimensions and components of ‘real’, ‘effective’, and ‘high-performing’ teams.
  • Professional accreditation to use the Affina Team Performance Inventory or Affina Real Team Profile+ to support teams across your organisation or client base – benchmarking performance and driving real impact.

Programme format

Pre-course: Evidence base review (1 hour, self-study)

Workshop: Live facilitated learning over 1.5 days (1 full- plus 1 half-day consecutive)

Follow-up support: Discussion with your facilitator to enable you to gain accreditation

Numbers are limited to small groups to ensure a more bespoke learning experience.

Our facilitation team

Michele White, Dr Shona Brown and Dr Claire Harris are experienced facilitators with senior leadership and consultancy backgrounds in health and care HR/OD.

All are qualified executive team coaches who bring a practical, hands-on approach to developing your skills and confidence in this space.
